How to Apply
Deadline to Apply: May 1
Applications will be accepted no later than May 1.
Applications may be canceled in writing without penalty within seven (7) days after both parties have signed the Enrollment Agreement. The Institute will promptly refund the $500 registration fee.
After the seven (7) day cancellation period, the registration fee and the application fee will be non-refundable.
There are two methods of payment available:
1. Pay in Full OR
2. Deferred Payment Tuition Plan.
Required Items to Apply
We will process your application once we receive the following items:
Application plus $150 application fee, made payable to the Barrie School (IAMS)
One official copy of college transcripts for each degree held, mailed or sent electronically to the Institute from the college
Copies of Montessori diplomas and/or state teaching certification, if applicable
Three letters of recommendation using the Recommendation for Admittance form, to be sent directly to the Institute by the reference
Essay discussing (1) the factors that led your interest in becoming a Montessori teacher, (or Administrator) and (2) your expectation of your experience with the Institute.
