From May 11 through 15, 2026, the Barrie community will come together for Unlocking Possibility: Barrie’s Giving Week & Online Auction. It's a celebration of the generosity, creativity, and spirit that make Barrie so special. The auction is an exciting opportunity for families, alumni, and friends to help unlock new possibilities for our students and teachers while enjoying some wonderful items, experiences, and community offerings.

Each item donated helps create an engaging auction and moves us closer to our $250,000 Annual Fund goal for the year, providing critical support to the school’s operating budget for the fiscal year; we are already over half way there! When families share their talents, resources, and creativity, it truly helps unlock what’s possible for our students.
We are currently seeking donations of:
- Experiences (vacation homes, tickets, special outings)
- Professional services or lessons
- Gift cards or themed baskets
- Handmade items or artwork

A Letter from the Development Office
This year has brought tremendous momentum as we introduce programming to meet the moment. As part of that evolution, we're reimagining how we gather and celebrate together. One change will be to transition away from the Annual Benefit Auction, and instead, introduce a new series of spring events that will reflect who we are today and who we're becoming—a collaborative learning hub for futures-oriented schools within the DMV and beyond. These events will offer fresh opportunities to gather, connect, and strengthen our community in the same energizing, inclusive spirit we know and love. We look forward to sharing details as they develop and to collaborating with you as we shape them together.
