Super Camps are one time offerings, providing blasts of fun and learning! Each program is unique and targets a specific interest and age group. Additional fees apply and vary depending on the program and length of day.

Super Camps - Campers entering Grades K-1

Baking Buddies - Cost: $500  - $50 discount for Week 3 will apply

Fun and laughter are key ingredients for a tasty week of camp. Learn your way around the kitchen and how to follow a recipe. Cookies, cakes, and other delectables are on the menu! Half day baking mixed with a half day of camp activities.

Bug-A-Boo Nature Camp - Cost: $500

Young naturalists will explore the diverse ecosystems across campus. Dig in the dirt, wade in the stream, trek through forests looking for examples of the creepy crawly creatures living here. Turn trinkets from nature found the daily adventures into interesting and creative works of art.

Week 4: July 8 - July 12 | Grades: K - 2 | Group Size: Min. 4 / Max 12


Jr. Drone Pilots - Cost: $500

Presented by Drobots Drone STEM Camps, Junior Drone Pilots is specifically designed for campers with little to no experience flying drones. Campers will learn the basics of drone technology and safety before taking to the air. Through the use of iPad flight simulators and clear instruction on basic flying maneuvers, young Drobots' pilots will experience a program filled with excitement, games, challenges, and learning. Campers work all week to prepare for the most enjoyable event: the Ultimate Drone Games that includes events such as: Tic-Tac-Drone, Drone Darts, Duck-Duck-Drone, and more! All campers go home with interactive workbooks and plenty of Drobots Company keepsakes and trinkets so memories last long beyond the summer. Drone safety and social responsibilities of flying drones are included in this program. The safest and most reliable drone products on the market are used, including the Parrot(TM) drones for enhanced safety and most of all, fun!

Barrie On The Go - Cost $500

Pack a lunch and hop on the bus for a new destination and adventure each day. Outings geared for our youngest campers include: Picnic Lunch and Carrousel Ride at Wheaton Park, Visit the Animals at the Baltimore Zoo, Explore Port Discovery, and Roam Badlands Playspace. Note: Final list of daily destinations will be sent the prior week. Locations and/or order of trips may to change due to weather or scheduling conflicts.

Week 6: July 22 - July 26 | Grades: K - 2 | Group Size: Min. 4 / Max. 12


STEAM Amusement - Cost: $500

Young scientists will observe, investigate, and discover the world through hands-on learning using the Lego STEAM Amusement Park. Explore questions such as: What happens as a car rolls down the ramp versus a ball? How can I make a chain reaction? Fun for those with inquisitive minds!

Mini-Stirrup Riding Camp - Cost: $600

An exciting week for little ones fascinated by horses! Mounted leadline lessons will introduce the foundation of a proper position while developing security in the saddle. Spend time in the barn doing chores and caring for the horses. Half day at the barn mixed with a half day of camp activities.

What’s Cooking? - Cost: $500

Mix up some fun while creating delicious mini-meals and healthy snacks. Learn about the different food groups and what is needed for a balanced diet. Take home some tasty treats and new recipes.

Ultimate Drone Obstacle Challenge - Cost: $500 - No Camp July 4 / $50 discount for Week 3 will apply

Presented by Drobots Drone STEM Camps, Ultimate Drone Obstacle Challenge is designed for both the novice and experienced drone enthusiasts. This week is filled with pure action as campers enjoy one of the world's fastest growing sports, Drone Obstacle Racing. Learn about the basic safety of drone flying and the history behind drone racing as a sport. From there, campers will progress through various skill challenges and learn how to perform various exercises and maneuvers to become familiar with the drone's speed and agility. Campers will use iPads and remote controls to navigate the drone through short and long obstacle courses. Participants will also create the design and help build the obstacle course in preparation for the last day's finial activity and competition. All campers go home with interactive workbooks and plenty of Drobots Company keepsakes and trinkets so the memories last long beyond the summer. Drone safety and social responsibilities of flying drones are included in the curriculum.

Week 3: July 1 - July 5 | Grades: 3-5 | Group Size: Min. 8 / Max 16


Drone Escape and Rescue - Cost: $500

Presented by Drobots Drone STEM Camps, Drone Escape and Rescue introduces the use of drones for practical purposes. Drone search and rescue is now a necessity for first responders around the world, adding a new layer of solutions in emergency situations. Like real rescuers, campers take part in and learn from simulated missions during this action-packed, creative, and educational week. Participants will learn to fly drones and rely on their rescue team to collect vital data in specific "rescue areas" to locate "victims" and safely assist them. Age-appropriate methods and cutting-edge technology are used when creating plans, missions, and maps. Campers will learn invaluable lessons on how to simply, quickly, and accurately make informed and targeted suggestions for real-world positive applications.

Week 5: July 15 - July 19 | Grades: 3-5 | Group Size: Min. 8 / Max 16


Game of Codes - Cost: $500

Build interactive games, create your own app or animation, design personalized Minecraft Mods, make virtual robots, and explore galaxies far far away! Campers will learn fundamentals of programming and build new skills through code.org lessons and programs such as Scratch, Tynker, and Kodable.

Week 6: July 22 - July 26 | Grades: 3-5 | Group Size: Min. 4 / Max. 12


Barrie On The Go for Middle Campers - Cost: $500

Adventure awaits beyond Barrie’s front gate. Pack a lunch and hop on the bus for day long outings geared for middle campers grades 3-5. Samplings of outings include: Adventure Park USA, Zava Zone, and Cunningham Falls State Park.  Note: Final list of daily destinations will be available soon. Locations and/or order of trips may to change due to weather or scheduling conflicts.

Horsemanship Camp - Cost: $600

Geared for riders who are looking for more time riding, caring for horses, and learning essential horsemanship skills. Participants must be capable of grooming, tacking up, and trotting without assistance. Ride first thing in the morning before assisting younger campers in the Mini Stirrup program. After lunch and a quick swim, return to the barn for a second ride before completing afternoon barn chores.

Yes, Chef! - Cost: $500

Aspiring chefs and bakers will learn about different cooking styles by whipping up samplings of appetizers and sweet treats from a variety of cultures around the world. Bon appetit!

A fun week for campers looking for high adventure. Pack a lunch and hop on the bus for day long field trips geared for older campers grades 6-8. Samplings of outings include: American Visionary Art Museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Tubing at Harpers Ferry (6 pm return to campus from tubing). Note: Final list of daily destinations will be available soon. Locations and/or order of trips may to change due to weather or scheduling conflicts.

Makerspace Innovation Challenge - Cost: $500

Tap your creativity to answer the pizza box innovation challenge. Guidelines for the project will be revealed on the first day of this session. Design and build using tools found in Barrie's Makerspace lab to bring your STEAM creation to life!

Week 7: July 29 - August 2 | Grades: 6-8 | Group Size: Min. 4 / Max. 12
