Outdoor Education

An important part of Barrie Camp's outdoor education includes Outdoor Living Skills (OLS), Nature and Overnight programs. The many natural habitats across campus provide a lush and wondrous environment for exploration and play. Overnights are optional for children entering grade one and above.

Overnights

On and off campus overnights are offered weekly. Middle Camp participants overnight on campus and sleep in tents or indoors during inclement weather. Upper Camp participants head off campus to campsites at local State Parks or stay on campus with an off campus evening adventure. Registration forms, schedules, and locations are available to families shortly before camp begins. Costs vary depending on length and location.

Registration forms for overnights will be made available on families CampInTouch account of eligible campers (grade 1 and above) the Friday before each session. The overnight registration form and payment must be returned to the camp office before a camper is permitted to participate.
