Facility Rentals
Host your next event on our beautiful 45-acre campus!
Barrie School rents its facilities all year round and has an array of indoor and outdoor venues for social gatherings and sporting events. Availability depends on the school's use of the space and other campus related activities.
All rental groups are required to provide proof of insurance that names Barrie School as an additional insured party. All payments are non-refundable and must be made at the time of the reservation. Accepted forms of payment include check, money order, or credit card.
Events with support needs such as set-up and break down, storage, equipment, etc. require additional fees. Rental requests should be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the event date. Discounts on rental fees are offered to Barrie staff and alumni.

Facilities Available for Rent
Jamie L. Roberts athletics center Gymnasium
Rate: $100 per hour
Capacity: 50 people on the court
The court is equipped with 6 adjustable basketball nets, a court divider, volleyball post holes, and bleachers. It is lined for multiple sports (volleyball & basketball). Volleyball nets are available at an additional cost.
Strauss Gymnasium
Rate: $80 per hour
Capacity: 30 people on the court
The court is equipped with 2 basketball nets, 1 adjustable 5-7 foot basketball net on the side, and volleyball post holes. It is lined for youth basketball and volleyball. It has fully padded walls.
Artificial Turf Field
Rate: $200 per hour
Capacity: 100 people on the field
This turf field includes 2 stationary full-sized soccer goals and small aluminum bleachers. It is lined for multiple sports (soccer and boys & girls lacrosse). There are no lights on the field.
Lower Campus Pavilion
Rate: $100 per hour
Capacity: 80 people
This pavilion includes picnic tables, ropes climb play equipment, and gaga pit. It is equipped with electrical outlets.
Upper Campus Pavilion
(Currently Available to Barrie Staff and Families ONLY)
Rate: $100 per hour
Capacity: 80 people
This pavilion includes picnic tables, playground equipment, and an amphitheater. It is equipped with electrical outlets.
Horse Stable Grass Field
(Currently Available to Barrie Staff and Families Only)
Rate: $50 per hour
Capacity: 40 people on the field
This field is ideal for grassroots athletic team practices.
Outdoor Pool
(only available in June, July, & August)
Rate: Contact rentals@barrie.org for pricing and availability.
Capacity: 120 people in the pool
The pool is ideal for social gatherings and birthday parties. The pool has a maximum depth of 5 ft.
