Synopsis
The Ghosts of Sleepy Hollow is written by DC local playwright, James Lex. It explores Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow with two timelines that ultimately collide. In the present, a group of students breaks into an old schoolhouse looking for ghosts. While in the past, Ichabod is new to a town with an intense past and some untrustworthy characters. This play brings to our students the challenge of adaptation and the bigger question of how much of our past echoes into our future.
