HEALTH AND MEDICATIONS
Maintenance of a student’s health is critical to the learning process. Fostering this important goal requires effective communication and cooperation between the physician, parents/guardians, and school health personnel. You are welcomed and encouraged to contact the Health Office with any questions or concerns you may have.
Health and Wellness on Campus
Students who are ill are not permitted to come to school or stay at school; this is for the health and safety of all students at the Barrie School. Dismissal from school due to illness must be authorized by the school nurse. In the absence of the school nurse, the principal of each school will make the determination if a student is too ill to remain at school. Students are not permitted to “dismiss themselves” from school.
