Mustang Monthly, January 2012

The busiest basketball month of the season was also the most successful! The four teams went a combined 8-11, with several close games, including a thrilling (and agonizing) one-point overtime loss by the MS boys team. Of special note: the varsity boys earned a hotly contested, 1 point victory over Antioch on Jan. 12. Both teams are looking forward to today's 5:00pm rematch. They also defeated the British School rather easily 47-22. The varsity girls have alternated wins and losses, with the last game a 51-22 blowout victory, with Rosemary scoring an astounding 30 points. Besides the aforementioned 1 point loss, the MS boys’ team defeated the Lowell School 34-28. And the MS girls had a winning month (2 wins/1 loss), and started February off with another victory over the Kingsbury School. The leading scores have come from the likes of Allison and Cheyenne.

If you haven’t yet, you need to come out and see for yourself how much all of the teams have improved, and how well they have been playing. All schedules are available on the web.
