New Primary Classroom Opens!: The Barrie School is pleased to announce the opening of a new classroom for 2 to 3 year olds! Applications are currently being accepted for immediate enrollment. Limited spaces remain. Please contact the admission office at 301-576-2800 for additional information.

Thanksgiving Break:
The Barrie School will be closed for the Thanksgiving Break between Wednesday, November 26 and Friday, November 28. Classes will resume on Monday, December 1.

Upper School Choral and Instrumental Concert - Sunday, December 7 at 2 p.m., Safer Theater!
The Upper School Barrie Singers and Advanced Instrumental Ensemble are hard at work on the music for our fall concert. Be sure to join us on Sunday, December 7th at 2:00 p.m. in the Safer Theater. The concert will include three movements from the famous Baroque choral work, Gloria, by Antonia Vivaldi with string orchestra, Chinese Folk Songs, Rock and Jazz selections and fun holiday music. You will not want to miss our talented Upper School students as they perform for you. No tickets required; just your presence!

Lower School Songfest:
Lower and upper elementary students will be performing at the annual Songfest on Friday, December 19. The UE performance, begins at 9 a.m. will be held in the Safer Theater, while the LE performance, beginning at 1 p.m. will be held in the Strauss Gymnasium. BCA Ice Skating Party:
Saturday, January 10, 2009 -- The BCA sponsors an evening session of skating for all Barrie students and their families at the Wheaton Ice Arena. Volunteers are needed to assist with check-in and monitor activities on the ice. Able to volunteer? Have other questions? Please contact BCA event chairs: Lisa and Charlie Mead.
