  • Barrie's New Studio and Research and Learning Lab buildings

The Studio and the Research and Learning Lab

I am pleased to lend my voice to this week’s newsletter. As Barrie’s Director of Technology and Sustainability, I work with the Administrative Team to support the School’s overall efforts and growth and, in particular, to help us make advances in the areas of technology, environmental responsibility, and sustainability. This is an exciting role that enables me to be involved in a range of areas in the school. One of the realities of working in an independent school is the need to wear a variety of hats; for me, this is definitely a perk. Since December, I have been part of a planning team working on the design and implementation of our new Middle-Upper School buildings. We are all quite excited by the design and potential of these new buildings to enhance our students' experience at Barrie.

Read on to learn more about the Studio and Research and Learning Lab.
