Barrie Camp employs a summer staff of over 150 counselors, specialists and leaders. We seek staff who can respectfully, enthusiastically and lovingly interact with children. Positions range from entry level to those that require specific training, education and experience. Working with children and their families demands a unique and personal commitment.

Leadership Training
Barrie is a non-profit organization and a designated Student Service Learning (SSL) site. Public and private school students who are C/CITs and CITs benefit from Barrie’s leadership programing and receive SSL credits.
Barrie Camp offers two Leadership Training Programs:
Camper / Counselor-In-Training (C/CIT) - A Specialty Camp for rising 9th graders. C/CITs must enroll in the program for a minimum of two weeks.
Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program - A service opportunity for rising 10th graders. Applications will be available in early January.
