Camp Supervision

HOURS:
The supervision program hours are from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, and from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The program concludes promptly at 6:00 PM.
CHECK-IN: In the morning, a drive-through, check-in station for all campers is located at the bus circle. Cars arriving with campers drive counter-clockwise around the circle and stop in front of the check-in station. Camp staff opens car doors, signs-in campers, and escorts them to their morning group. All arriving campers must pass through the check-in station before reporting to their group. Parents of Lower Camp children who would like to walk their child to the Lower Camp supervision group must remember to walk by way of the check-in station.
MORNING GROUP LOCATIONS: Campers in Lower Camp use the same Lower Camp rooms and playground that are used by the Lower Camp groups throughout the day. Campers in Middle or Upper Camp use the amphitheater playground, upper pavilion, Lower School Gym (Bldg. M), and classrooms in Rothschild Hall (Bldg. L). At the end of the morning supervision period, counselors meet and greet campers at the amphitheater.
AFTERNOON GROUP LOCATIONS: Campers in Lower Camp continue to use one of the Lower Camp rooms and playground that are used by Lower Camp groups throughout the day. Campers in Middle and Upper Camp begin at the amphitheater playground and upper pavilion. By 4:30 PM campers in Middle and Upper Camp are moved to the pool and adjacent pavilion. Occasionally, inclement weather forces these campers to remain at the top of the hill or be sheltered in the school building nearest the pool. Camp staff will be in place to inform you of any change in pick-up location.
CHECK OUT: All children leaving in the afternoon from the supervision program must be signed-out by the pick-up person. A signature must be recorded on the sign-out sheet. Inform the camp office in writing if you are giving permission to a person besides yourself to pick-up your child. Staff is instructed to wait for authorization from the camp office before releasing a child to anyone other than a parent. The fee for late pick-ups is one dollar ($1) per minute. This procedure is followed regardless of any delay or inconveniences to parents.
LOWER CAMP children are picked up at the top of the hill. Parents park in the upper lot and walk to the Lower Camp buildings (Bldgs. R and O) and playground to pick up their child.
MIDDLE or UPPER CAMP children are picked up at the bottom of the hill by the pool. Parents use a drive-through, check-out procedure by the lower pavilion. When a parent arrives, camp staff calls up to the pool staff to have them locate the child. The child gets out of the pool, dries off, and dresses. Camp staff will escort the child through the check-out station and to the car.
SNACKS: The program includes snacks in the afternoon.
