The
Upper School
offers a rigorous academic and broad-based learning program that prepares students for college and life in the 21st century.
In core, elective and AP classes, students are taught to interact collaboratively and think critically. They learn to access and analyze information in a wide range of media and disciplines. Students grapple with the complexities of global citizenship and develop an appreciation for cultural diversity.
Extension Days and Extended Study Week are an integral part of the curriculum and carry learning beyond the classroom. Internships and Community Service enable students to design and participate in meaningful life experiences.
While the vast majority of students far exceed the minimum requirements for graduation, students are required to complete 24 credits in the following areas:
