The Library
There are three libraries on The Barrie School campus: The
Claremont Library and two Lower School libraries. The Claremont
Library serves the reading and informational needs of students
and faculty in the Middle and Upper Schools. The library
building houses the Computer Lab, creating an active center for
research and learning.
The Lower School libraries serve preschool through grade three
and fourth through fifth grade, respectively. Students visit the
library weekly for story time, checkout, and information skills
instruction and may come in for research at any time. Each
library acts as an information hub for its surrounding
