Barrie graduates enter university life prepared to handle
the academic rigors of the classroom and the new social environment
of the college campus. Barrie graduates engage in service
learning, compete as successful athletes, participate in vocal
and instrumental ensembles, and participate in major theatrical
productions. They adeptly navigate the challenges in a changing
world.
Barrie Collegiate Development provides our students with early
exposure to the concept of college, and assists them through
the college selection and application process.
A student’s application to college is the first of many
steps in making life decisions. Collegiate Development incorporates
innovative programming and curricula that allow students to
integrate their Barrie experience with college and university
life.
Collegiate Development establishes and maintains relationships
with parents, students, colleges, and college admission offices
through college tours, conferences, and hosting visitors to
The Barrie School. The program matches students with appropriate
post secondary options, including competitive colleges and universities
in all regions of the U.S. as well as international locations.
